During ADE, Amsterdam shifts into full electronic music mode. A five-day conference and festival week with more than four hundred events spread across the city and hundreds of thousands of visitors. For artists, bookers, label teams, and industry professionals, staying during ADE is a logistical challenge. Centre hotels are sold out months in advance. Privacy is limited. Travelling to shows on NDSM and in North takes substantial time. Faralda Crane Hotel offers an alternative: three suites on a restored harbour crane on the NDSM yard itself, fifty metres above the IJ. Direct access to the main location of many ADE events, with privacy and exclusivity no Centre hotel can offer.
ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) is the largest electronic music event in the world. Five days in October, with:
Many large events take place on the NDSM yard and at other North locations. ADE is the highlight of the Amsterdam festival year for artists, labels, and industry.

Faralda’s position during ADE is distinctive on three elements.
Location on the NDSM yard itself. Many large ADE events take place on NDSM. For artists or teams performing at NDSM Hallen, in an NDSM warehouse, or at Awakenings: from Faralda it is walking distance. No taxi, no traffic, no entrance queue.
Privacy and sound separation. Three suites on a harbour crane on the western side of the yard, fifty metres above the festival ground. The suites are relatively soundproof. The festival crowd does not reach the crane itself. For artists who need rest between sets, this is rare during ADE.
The rooftop jacuzzi at fifty metres. After a set, or in the early morning before a flight, the rooftop jacuzzi offers a moment of rest that exists nowhere else. For industry teams who experience the festival rather than just work, it is the ritual that closes the ADE stay.
Private check-in and concierge. No queue at reception among festival visitors. Arrival and check-out are coordinated to your schedule, including unusual hours.
Sound isolation. For artists sleeping during the day between sets, sound separation is critical. The suites on the Faralda crane are relatively quiet despite the festival environment.
Private rooftop jacuzzi. For the most requested moments of an ADE stay. On request, jacuzzi time can be reserved specifically for sunset or after a particular set.
Catering and drinks on request. Champagne breakfast in the suite is standard. On request, specific wines, cocktails, or catering from NDSM restaurants (Pllek, Hangar) can be delivered.
Parking and transport. For artists with crew, parking spaces are available at the crane. On request, private transport between Faralda and other locations can be arranged.
Private photography session at the crane. For artists or label teams creating ADE content, a professional photo session at the crane can be arranged.

Headlining artists with multiple shows. For guests playing multiple sets per day who need privacy between performances. Faralda’s private positioning and short travel distance to NDSM stages is practical.
Label teams and booking agencies. For industry professionals hosting guests and seeking discreet meeting locations. The suites can be used for smaller meetings, and the private concierge handles logistics.
Industry partners and investors. For professionals attending ADE as a networking event who expect luxury with privacy. Faralda’s invitation-only model fits this.
Producers and directors. For guests creating content during ADE. The Faralda crane itself and the NDSM yard are both visually strong backgrounds for video or photo sessions.
